SeaTown Sports is an independent sports blog that is dedicated to providing up-to-date analysis and news of sports happenings in Seattle. We focus on local high school sports, the Seattle Seahawks, the Seatte Mariners, Sounders FC and Washington Husky Sports. We also include insight on sports happenings nationally and internationally.

As avid sports fans, my friends and I often discussed, argued, debated, and sometimes fought over things relating to Seattle sports. We decided to take this passion and put it into this blog. While we continue to enjoy, play, and watch sports we hope to share this passion with you, the reader, on this blog.

Kevin C. (karazekevin)- The founder of SeaTown Sports. He enjoys hip-hop music and often is ridiculed over his pathetic attempts to reenact several dope rhymes. He loves to eat salsa and chips when watching any sporting event. Some of his favorite TV shows include Family Guy, South Park, and Sportscenter. His favorite movies include, SuperBad, the Goonies, and He Got Game. He is a die-hard husky fan and right now his favorite athlete is Jake Locker.

Jeff M (jeff)- The first guest-poster to join Kevin in creating the blog. Jeff is a self-proclaimed sports junkie. He is a loyal listener to Mike and Mike in the morning on ESPN radio and he also religiously listens to 950kjr where he idolizes mitch and the gasman. He is a huge Zag fan, if you don't believe me, you can ask him about any former Gonzaga basketball player, and he'll know..

James S. (James)- aka. Big Red. James is probably the most opinionated sports fan in the Seattle area. But that's why we love him. He enjoys playing football and singing. James' favorite TV shows include the Simpsons and the Colbert Report. You can always see him donning Seattle sports apparel, whether its his signature Sonics t-shirt or his seahawks hat, he'll never falter.

Dominic S. (Dom)- A starting Offensive Lineman for his high school football team, he's a big guy with some big insight. He loves his Huskies and he loves his college football. The definition of a loyal fan. Random fact: not a lot of people know about his mad drumming skills.

Evan S. (Evan)- Not much is known about this mysterious writer. He runs some cross country and Track, but not anything special.....yet. He likes to write about local high school sports and all Seattle Sports teams, he has a secret passion for Hockey and the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Ian S. (Eon)- Jack of all trades, obsessed with all Seattle sports teams, including the Sounders.

David S. (divadellas)- Writes a bi-weekly Grinds My Gears post, likes to look at sports in unorthodox ways.

Alex W. (Alex)- Diehard Sounders fan, also follows the Seahawks religiously
