Brandon Morrow in the Seattle Mariner Rotation?

We all know this move is inevitable. But when will it happen? Recent reports say it might happen:

"It sounds like that if Putz continues to dominate over the next week or two (or three), Morrow could be sent to AAA Tacoma for three starts, one of 3 innings, one of 5 and one of 6, before being recalled and plugged into the MLB rotation (assuming that he pitches well as a starter in AAA)"

This is great news for Mariner fans as his true potential will finally start taking form. If he could convert to a starter in the last two months of the regular season, then the Mariners' rotation will be that much stronger come the 2009 season.

However, this all depends on JJ Putz' performance in the coming weeks. Hopefully Putz will able to keep up his improvement (one earned run so far in his return). Sphere: Related Content
