I'm not going to sit here and tell you that SeaTown sports has given you a lot of Seattle Storm coverage. I've sprinkled some news bits into the daily notes but haven't given the team significant thought or time on this blog. This is a Seattle Sports blog, and the Storm are really good. Put two and two together and you get the Seattle Storm Report!
This team doesn't have Lauren Jackson right now because she has started training with the Australian National Team for the Olympics. Oh ya, and she ended up winning an ESPY last night for best WNBA player, that'd be the third time she won the award.
In four games the WNBA will go in a black-out period and stop the season for the Olympics. Lately, Sue Bird and Swin Cash have been carrying the team, they were able to grind a win out against the Minnesota Lynx an afternoon two days ago .
Right now, I can't wait for the match-up between Sue Bird and Lauren Jackson with the U.S. and Austrailia facing off in the Olympics.
