Five Ways to Replace the Seattle Supersonics

If you're a hardcore hooper like me or a true basketball fan, you need to get your fix someway somehow, even if that means the Seattle Supersonics are gone. Here are the five ways to fill your basketball addiction, Seattlites:
1. Go to Europe and watch basketball there- Recently there has been what seems to be an Exodus across the Atlantic Ocean to Europe. Brandon Jennings has decided to forgo his one year of college and play pro ball in Europe and then return to the U.S for the NBA draft.
Josh Childress has decided to also go and play in Europe for a bigger paycheck. If you're looking for a Seattle connection, I'm pretty sure that there are some former huskies playing European ball.

2. Watch the Huskies- Ever since Brandon Roy left, the Huskies have failed to make the NCAA tournament these past two years. However, things are looking nice going into this next season. Jon Brockman is an All-American candidate and the stardom of Quincy Pondexter is about to be unleashed. And although Ryan Appleby is long gone, newcomer Isaiah Thomas brings a Nate Robinson kind of swagger.

3. Enjoy some High School Basketball- If you haven't noticed, there are some extremely talented youngsters that will be balling it up at local high schools next winter all around Seattle. Peyton Siva, Josh Smith, Abdul Gaddy, Avery Bradley, Aaron Dotson are just a few of the handful of talent available. Heck, you should even try and catch a game of the phenom 6th grader, JaShaun Agosto.

4. Follow the Trailblazers- Probably the easy choice, with players like B-Roy and Martell Webster, how could a Seattle basketball fan not shift their loyalties to the Blazers? Paul Allen owns our Seahawks, and the Blazers' coach, Nate McMillan has the nickname, "Mr. Sonic".

5. Follow the OKC Thunder- The most unpopular choice to say the least. However, you'll know pretty much every one on the team, and you'll get to cheer on the man child, Kevin Durant.

Oh ya, and throwing your support behind the Cougar basketball team is NOT an option..they stink anyways..

So how are you going to replace the Sonics?
