SeaTown Sports Fantasy Football: Draft Recap

Two days ago we had the first annual SeaTown Sports Fantasy Football draft, officially starting the season. This fantasy season I plan to blog weekly updates on the league.

My Team-Skyway McLovin's
Starters
QB-Derek Anderson
RB-Joseph Addai
RB-Larry Johnson
RB/WR-Selvin Young
WR-Braylon Edwards
WR- Chad Johnson
TE-Heath Miller
DEF-New England Patriots

This team is pretty solid. Hopefully the Derek Anderson-Braylon Edwards combo will work out. If not, I still have two solid running backs and Ocho Cinco.

Draft Steals
  • The Seattle Airraiders get Marvin Harrison in the 8th round. Altough his skill is diminishing, any 2nd string reciever with Peyton Manning is going to rack up some fantasy stats.
  • Killa Chow Mane choose Nate Burleson in Round 8. The ultimate sleeper, will surprise a lot this year.

Worst Picks
  • The Burien Bouncers choose Adrian Peterson with the 10th overall pick in the 1st round. Too bad this Adrian Peterson is not the one that plays for the Vikings. Oh boy.
  • The Laurelherst Lemurs take Brett Favre with the 16th overall pick in the 2nd round. It's not like anyone was waiting to grab this spoiled madden-cursed two-faced old man.
  • Killa Chow Mane chooses Jason Witten in the 5th round with the 48th overall pick. Way too early to grab a TE. Would have been better off drafting a RB
  • Kirkland Crab People choose Bobby Engram. He's Injured.
