Several unnamed sources have contacted me and said that Chris Peterson, the Boise State head coach is one of the top candidates for the UW job.
These sources have gone on to say that Peterson has already contacted several of his current recruits at Boise State asking them about their interest in playing at the University of Washington. At the same time, these same recruits have been contacted and told by the UW coaching staff (not Tyrone) that they are taking a real look at Peterson being the new head coach.
Could this mean that Peterson will be the next head coach? It's way too early too tell. I don't know what to conclude from this information except for the fact that Peterson can now be added to the top of the list along with that of Kiffin, Mora, and Pinkel.
