Fantasy Week 13 Studs and Duds

I love Thanksgiving, and the tradition it brings, including turkey, pumpkin pie, and, of course, football. The upcoming week 13 games will have playoff implications for pro football teams and fantasy teams. Here are my studs and duds for week 13.

QB

Stud: Tony Romo, Cowboys. Romo bounced back from injury with a monster performance against San Fransisco. As much as it hurts to say, Seattle isn’t a lot better.
Stud: Matt Ryan, Falcons. Ryan has been playing well and continues to improve. And he faces the Chargers, the worst pass defense in the NFL.

Dud: Eli Manning, Giants. Manning has struggled on the road, and his opponent, the Redskins, are tough against the pass at home.
Dud: Donovan McNabb, Eagles. Even though he faces a weak Arizona defense, his performance last week has made me hate him even more.

RB

Stud: Thomas Jones, Jets. Jones is one of fantasy’s hottest running backs, and faces a disgraceful Denver run defense.
Stud: DeAngelo Williams, Panthers. Though Jonathan Stewart is finally healthy, Williams is still getting the bulk of the work. He’s another red-hot back and faces another weak defense in Green Bay.

Dud: Clinton Portis, Redskins. I’m not necessarily saying bench him, but Portis is banged up and faces a very tough NY Defense.

WR

Stud: Roddy White, Falcons
. White is a monster, and again, San Diego is terrible against the pass.
Stud: Lance Moore, Saints. Even with Colston back, Moore has proved he is a vital part of their offense. Plus he has the unstoppable Drew Brees throwing to him.

Dud: Randy Moss, Patriots. I’m not buying his huge game last week. Moss has enormous potential, but has been inconsistent and will struggle against Pittsburgh.
Dud: Braylon Edwards, Browns. The deep ball is a major part of Edward's game, and the Colts defend the deep ball well. Plus he can't catch.

TE

Stud: Tony Scheffler, Broncos. The Jets give up the second most points in the NFL to tight ends. Scheffler has been inconsistent but could have a big game here.

Dud: Jason Witten, Cowboys. You probably still have to start him, but Witten is hurting and TO has been getting all the targets.

Last week's record: 7 correct, 4 incorrect.

Leave any comments or questions about who to start and sit, and I will answer them. Good luck in week 13!
