My 2009 Seattle Supersonics Calendar

I happened to be strolling the mall the day after Christmas and walked into the Calendar store where everything was 50% off. I needed something to replace my 2008 Bob Marley calendar. After seeing numerous calendars gracing the subjects of Michael Phelps, Twilight, and Will Smith, I was beginning to think I wouldn't find an adequate relationship replacement for Bob. However, after passing a creepy old guy checking out the swimsuit section I came across this thing of beauty:

Suddenly I felt at complete peace as this Jessica Simpson song played in my head. I went to the register, bought it for $7.00, and  listened to the Calendar store employee say, "Best Calendar EVER"! Obviously this calendar was made in 2008 probably before all of the ruckus. But did the NBA have no heart to take the freaking thing off store shelves? Or was it the stupid Calendar store's fault? Either way, I think I walked home with a sense of accomplishment. It's almost like buying a retro video game.

Man the NBA grinds my gears...
