Seattle Prep and Eastside Catholic are the consensus picks to be at the top of the league this year. Last year, Seattle Prep beat Bishop Blanchet for the Metro and District championships. However, after being upset in the state tournament, the Panthers finished fourth at state with Bishop Blanchet taking the state championship. Bishop Blanchet figures to be a threat, but without Summer Nash the team will not be as good as last year's squad.

Prep has a slight edge over Eastside in terms of talent. Prep returns 6'2" outside hitter Gabby-Bird Vogel (Sr.) . Vogel captured 3A second-team All-State honors after her performance in the state tournament. Also returning for Prep is Olivia Magill (Jr.) , a 6'2" outside hitter. These two players form a deadly combination that could very well lead Prep deep in the state tournament again. Eastside Catholic returns Kami McClain (Jr.) at the middle back position and Cami Silverman (Sr.) a 5'10" hitter. The Crusaders are just two years removed from a second place finish at State.

If Prep and Eastside Catholic make it out of their district, they could both be a threat to win the championship. Other teams to watch out for in 3A are Capital and Mount Si, both teams return some of their top players.
