2009 Personal Records:
100m-10.86
200m-21.58

Who do you run for?
I run for Todd Beamer high school in Federal Way.

What events are you going to be running in at state?
I will be running the 100, 200, and 4x100m at state this year.

Who do you most look forward to running against and why?
I originally wanted to race against Devin St. Clair. Since last season I've had my eyes set on beating him and he was a big part of my reason to compete at the state level. He is a strong athlete and a pretty nice guy so it brought the competition to a more personal level. Unfortunately he tore his ACL and MCL so he will no longer be competing against me. Racing against the top guy in state always brings the best race out of you and that is one thing I was looking foreword to this year.

Who will be your stiffest competition in the events you are running in at state?

I'm not sure about the competition in the 200m but there are several kids in the 100m dash running in the 10.85-10.95 realm. The 100 is anybody race this year. As for the 4x100m, it is somewhat disappointing to see several teams like Kentlake and Curtis get disqualified before even running at State.

Who is your favorite professional runners?
My favorite runner...I might have to go with Usain Bolt. Even though he wasn't quite on my radar until the 2008 Olympics he sure did leave an impression with his outstanding 200m race.

Do you play any other sports?
I play basketball, soccer, I wrestle, and also grew up playing baseball. I grew up playing basketball and baseball until about my sophomore year. I played for club teams and my school because my mom pushed me to do well in athletics. I also started playing soccer and wrestling in middle school. I wrestled up to my sophomore year as well and stop playing soccer because I lost interest when I moved here from Pittsburgh, PA. I just started track my first year in Washington (10th) and realized that I'm not too bad.

Where do you plan on going to college?
Though I got plenty of acceptance letters and an appointment to West Point, I chose to go to Boston University. I will be running track there and also doing Army ROTC.
