We will be profiling some Track and Field athletes from around the state who will be competing at the State Championships this Friday and Saturday.

Who do you run for?
I go to Rainier Beach High School.

What events are you going to be running in at state?
I will be running the 4 by 100 meter relay, the 4 by 200 meter relay, and the 400 meter dash. I am out of the 200 because I strained my hamstring in the relay at districts.


Who do you most look forward to running against and why?
I would say I look forward to running against Stephanie Cummings because she is the second fastest in 3A and I would like to compete with her.


Who is your favorite professional runners?
My favorite profesional track runner is Wilma Rudolph.


Do you play any other sports?
I play basketball, I dance, and I am a cheerleader.

Where do you plan on going to college?
I have been talking to Bosie state, Idaho state, and a few others but have not commited to anyone yet.
