We got a chance to talk to Lacy about his season and his future at Washington St. Check out our interview with Lacy after the jump!

How's your senior season going? What's been one highlight?
It's going how we planned. A highlight was playing in the Torrey Pines tournament and being able to compare my game to some of the best players in the country.

How was the Torrey pines tournament, any particular players that you played that stood out?
It was a good learning experience for us on how we have to play on a consistent basis. We came back and played well together. Some players that stood out were Norman Powell, Jabari Brown, Gelaun Wheelwright, and Ryan Anderson. There was a lot of top talent out there.

Speaking on your individual game, what would you consider are your main strengths?
My main strength I feel is my ability to score in a variety of ways. I also can see the court well to make my teammates better.

What are some parts of your game that you are working to improve still?
My defense and my strength and quickness. Going into the season, one of my focuses has been to improve these skills in order to play in the Pac-10.

You excited to play in the Pac-10? Why did you choose to commit to Washington St.?
Of course. Growing up in the Northwest and being able to play in the Pac-10 is a dream to most kids. I can't wait. I liked the family environment and I feel Washington St. gave me the best chance to improve my game in the four years I will be there.

What other schools were recruiting you? Were there any other schools that were up there with WSU?
I had Washington and Stanford showing interest along with Marquette and some smaller schools like Santa Clara and San Diego, but I committed early, so I left a lot out there on the table. I commitedt early because no matter who else would have recruited me, I would still have went with Wazzu.

How often do you talk to your cousin, Isaiah Thomas? Was he mad when you said you going to be a Cougar?
I will text him for help when I face stuff that I know he went through. He tells me how to deal with situations on and off the court. He wasn't mad, he was glad that I'm a Tacoma kid making my dream come true.

If you could compare your game to one college player or one NBA player, current or former, who would it be, and why?
I would have to say Carmelo because of the variety of ways we both can score and how he is so smooth with his movements on the floor.

Who is the most difficult player you've had to guard?
Brett Kingma because he's like Ray Allen and always runs off screens all game. He seems to never get tired.

Who is the best defender you've faced?
There is a lot of the football players that play basketball. They are tough because they are strong and fast. However, I have have to say my close friends because they know me better than anybody and know my moves the best. Can I get a shout out to my fam 5 bros; we are group that grew up together?

Who is part of the fam 5?
Jordan Russel, Johntrel Lee, Donald Gaddy, and Terell Lewis.
