Does anyone else out there believe the Huskies can knock off Baylor this Thursday at the Alamo Bowl? With ample preparation time and a healthy Keith Price, I don't think an upset is completely far-fetched. Sure, RG3 is a Heisman winner and is really good at throwing the football. And sure Washington's biggest weakness is its secondary, but can't the Huskies pull it together after being torched by Andrew Luck and Oregon's offense in the regular season? Hopefully Nick Holt and company have some tricks up their sleeves and have learned from their earlier defeats. Creating turnovers will be the name of the game. What are your keys to the game?
- Sports Press NW takes a look at Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III's game-by-game stats from this season. Hint: They're impressive.
- Baylor practiced on Sunday. Here are post-practice video and quotes coming from Baylor Head Coach Art Briles and RG3.
- There's a pageant princess and a wrestling star from Emerald Ridge HS in Washington. Read about her at Prep Rally.
- Pro Ball NW examines the future for Justin Smoak. If his thumbs are 100%, hopefully he can pick up right where he left off before his hitting slump began. What can we expect from him in 2012?
- Washington's performance so far landed it on the list of ESPN's top 10 dissapointments in college basketball. It could be worse. I'd hate to be a UCLA Bruin basketball fan right now.
