Cross Country competed at the Mike Hodges Invitational at Clackamas Community College in Oregon last weekend. The men finished sixth out of 17 teams in the four mile, while the women finished fifth out of 14 in the 5k. Adam Kollgaard led the way for the men, finishing 18th with a time of 20:56.30, while Lauren Hammerle paced the women, finishing 18th with a time of 19:14.84. The Redhawks will compete again this weekend, on October 23rd at the Beaver Classic at Oregon State University, in their final race before the Great West Conference Championships October 30th.
Men's Golf was off again this week. Their next action will be October 24-25 at the Kaui Collegiate Invitational, hosted by the University of Hawaii.
Women's Golf was off this week after finishing 14th at the Price's Give ‘Em Five Intercollegiate. They will resume their season November 1-2 at the Lamkin Grip Invitational, hosted by Cal Poly.
Men's Soccer (3-7-3) went on their first conference road trip of the season, and suffered 2-0 and 1-0 losses to Sacramento State and San Jose State, respectively. The Redhawks took a scoreless tie into halftime against Sacramento State, but the Hornets took advantage of Seattle U's poor shooting to avenge their loss on Championship Field last week. The San Jose State game also went into halftime scoreless, but the Spartans scored early in the second half and held on for the victory. The Redhawks travel to New Mexico and UNLV for matches this weekend.

Women's Soccer (9-5-1) extended their unbeaten streak to six games with a 1-1 double overtime draw against Baylor University. The Redhawks struck first with a goal by Emma Levy, but Baylor retaliated with a successful penalty kick ten minutes later. Neither team was able to capitalize on opportunities in the overtimes, and played to a tie. Seattle U's match against Cal Poly was cancelled after the first half due to inclement weather and lightning threats. The Redhawks were leading 1-0 before the game was called. Seattle U also fell to UC Santa Barbara, 1-0 on Thursday. The Redhawks were unable to overcome the Gauchos' goal in the 75th minute. Soccer will travel to Boulder, Colorado to take on the University of Colorado on Saturday.
Swimming put up several personal best times, but ultimately fell to the University of Hawaii last weekend. The men lost 152-77 on Friday and 177-106 on Saturday, and the women fell 146-86 on Friday and 177-110 on Saturday. Swimming will not compete again until November 6 in Stockton, California.
Volleyball (11-12) had a weekend of highs and lows. The team suffered a road loss to San Diego State last Friday, falling 25-20, 25-21, 26-24. Cristin Richards led the way with 16 kills, eight digs and three block assists. The Redhawks returned home on Sunday to much more success, sweeping Montana State 25-14, 25-22, 25-21. The Montana State victory marked Senior Night for the Volleyball team. The team also finished victorious in its' match against North Florida, winning 3-1. The team plays at Stetson on Saturday.
Men's Tennis is off this week as they prepare for their fall season finale, November 5-7 at the Pacific Northwest Intercollegiate Tournament hosted by UW.
The men's basketball team is still conducting preseason practices as they prepare for their season opener, an exhibition game against Pacific Lutheran, October 31 at KeyArena. The team finished 17-14 last season, the first program to finish with a winning record in their first full season at the Division I level.
