While it is understandable that some people do not care much about women's basketball, the hometown Seattle Storm are currently dominating the WNBA. Self-admittedly, I am not a huge fan of the Storm, but I did go to the game today.

They looked good, real good.

The Tulsa Shock aren't much competition for the Storm, but regardless of the fact, it is clear that this team is on the verge of making history. Their 75-59 win over the Shock set the Storm's record at 20-2, helping them become the second team to ever start their season at 20-2. The Storm are currently undefeated at home and have already clinched a playoff berth with 12 games to go in the regular season.

Lauren Jackson is hands down the best player in the league; she can dominate inside, she is unstoppable on the boards, and she can hit shots consistently all the way out to the three-point line. Sue Bird is making things look easy with her flawless no-look passes and her poise in leading the Storm offense.

This team is special and is the sure early favorite to take home the WNBA crown this season. If you're not on the bandwagon, I'd suggest you jump on. You should have been watching the Storm all along, but these ladies are doing something special and I suggest you jump on for the ride.
